Mice and rats seek shelter, food and warmth — often in roof voids, subfloors and wall cavities.

Signs of rodent activity include droppings, gnaw marks, unusual noises in the roof at night, and damage to stored food or packaging. Rodents can be a health concern and can damage wiring and insulation, so it's worth addressing activity as soon as it's noticed.
